Spiritual Direction

Also known as Spiritual Accompaniment – Spiritual Direction is a process whereby a person meets regularly with a director whose role is to create a safe and respectful space where individuals can reflect on the presence of God in their story. Spiritual Directors help people challenge their preconceived notions of God in order to grow into a deeper sense of God’s compassionate love for the world. There are a number of different models of spiritual direction. I work out of an incarnational model that is deeply rooted in the spirituality of my religious order. This is spirituality of the Heart and I endeavour to encourage individuals to recognise the inter-connectedness of life by taking a contemplative stance to human experience. I invite people to seek the compassionate heart of God working in all things.
